What makes your photo tours unique?

We are committed to offering you a unique experience in the most remote places, for a full immersion into the specifics of each country’s nature and wildlife with a group of like-minded photographers.
We are experts in our fields: we’ll take you to off-the-beaten-path places, where most tourists don’t go, so you can focus on your photographic adventure, while feeling safe in the hands of a dedicated and highly skilled team.
We only accommodate small groups to give each participant our undivided attention.
Additionally, our tours are led by 2 dedicated and extremely enthusiastic landscape and wildlife photographers who run these tours in their favorite places in the world. Feel free to check out the TEAM page.

Ethical wildlife encounters

Ethics is of great importance to us, and we are committed to teaching only techniques that do not interfere with wildlife. We do not use bait, nor do we use accommodations where the animals are fed by humans. Animals always come first, and we’re happy to share the virtue of patience on our photo trips.

For our photo tours, we favor areas where animals are not under stress (for example, by hunting). As a result, animals are often not shy, and it’s a wonderful, peaceful experience to witness.

What is the expected photography level for your tours?

Travelling in small groups allows us to tailor the content of our photo workshops: each participant’s level and interests are taken into account when building a program.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, wanting to improve your technique, or a seasoned photographer, we’re happy to welcome you on board and share our expertise!
Depending on the tour, we will teach you landscape photography techniques, but also wildlife photography techniques (approach, hide, …). Our knowledge of the area is always shared with participants: this includes wildlife behavior, local culture, and a bit of history if you’re curious….

What is the difficulty level of your tours?

We have a scale of 1 to 5 for each tour.
Of course, everyone’s fitness level and resistance to temperature variations is different, and we advise you to contact us if you’re worried about a tour’s difficulty or mobility restrictions. There usually is a solution to every problem, and our guides will adapt their program to the needs and wishes of everyone. In the event the group is split between easy and hard, we will offer two groups for that day.

  • Level 1 difficulty: little walking (maximum 1 kms). Mild weather.
  • Level 2 difficulty: short, easy to moderate hikes (maximum 2 kms).
  • Level 3 difficulty: daily, short to medium, easy to moderate hikes (maximum 4 kms). The weather can be rough at times.
  • Level 4 difficulty: daily medium moderate hikes (maximum 5 kms). Rough weather is to be expected.
  • Level 5 difficulty: Challenging hikes (maximum 5 kms). Extreme temperatures.
What should I bring?

We will send out a detailed packing list with focal length recommendations as well as appropriate clothing and equipment lists to all participants prior to the tour.

Do I get some alone time / Are we in charge of our own time?

Yes! We plan a schedule that includes everyone, but you can always choose to have a rest day, if needed. You can also choose to explore by yourself for the day, as long as you indicate which way you go to your guides first, and do not venture too far away from the group.

I want a private tour, is that possible?

Of course! You can check out our Private Tours page, and we can discuss your travel plans.

How far in advance should I book my trip?

We strongly recommend booking your trip at least 6 months in advance. This leaves you enough time to check your equipment, book your flights, and avoid last-minute stress.

The deadline to join our tours is 2 months prior to the tour’s start. If you wish to book past this date, please contact us to see if we can arrange your trip.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can check our Terms and Conditions here.

Are post-processing courses included?

Yes, we offer a facultative post-processing course on Lightroom as part of each trip.
